My Approach

Hi, I'm Hannah. In my experience, the therapeutic alliance between therapist and client is arguably the most important part of successful counseling. It can be incredibly important to find a therapist you connect with, who is also able to provide evidence based treatment that is right for you.

I have worked in the field of mental health and social work for nearly a decade. I've worked with clients ranging from pre-school kids to grandparents and everyone in between.

​

I currently prefer to work with adult women (18 and over) looking to heal from past trauma, tackle anxiety, or find freedom from OCD and intrusive thoughts. 

​

I use a variety of evidence based treatment tools and modalities. I primarily use EMDR, exposure response prevention, and cognitive behavioral therapy. When we meet, we will work together to create a treatment plan that fits your needs, time, and budget.

​

Although many of my clients are not religious or spiritual, some are, and prefer to include that aspect of their lives in treatment. I love the Lord and I love integrating clinical knowledge with faith! It would be an honor to share this part of life with you, if it's something you would prefer. (Don't worry - I won't talk about it if you don't.)

​

In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and our zoo of pets. We have two indoor dogs (Ellen and Jolene) and two outdoor cats (Biscuits and Gravy). My husband and I attend Faith Bible Church in Edmond. We love spending time outdoors and cooking out on our Blackstone!

 I specialize in helping individuals overcome anxiety. I use evidence-based therapies like CBT and EMDR to help you develop the skills you need to manage your symptoms and improve your quality of life.

Trauma & PTSD

If you have experienced trauma, EMDR therapy can help you reprocess your memories and reduce the emotional impact of the trauma. I also offer other evidence-based therapies that can help you heal from trauma.

OCD

OCD can steal the joy right out of day to day living. Using tools like exposure response prevention, we can learn how to tackle intrusive thoughts and OCD behaviors.

Relationships

While I do not offer marriage therapy, I am passionate about helping individuals learn skills to feel confident and secure in their relationships.

Stress Management

Stress can have a major impact on your mental and physical health. I can help you develop coping skills and relaxation techniques to manage your stress more effectively.

Processing

Sometimes, we just need a safe space to explore our thoughts and feelings. I can provide that space and help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself.
